Vb 2008 learning help ?
VB 2008 would be a great starting place. VB6 is not, 2008 is more tuned towards object oriented programming. You can dive right into this stuff, I did. You'll find that if you learn 2008, you'll be able to understand most of VB6, and possibly some of C and C++. The underlying philosophy of most computer languages are the same, so pick one that's pretty easy (VB is a great choice) and that is going to be a valuable skill for your future.
Reply:You can start learning it directly without the need of learning 6.0 and other versions. Take my example, i'm a vb 2005 hobbyist who didnt start from 6.0 or 2003.The best way to learn vb2008 is the video tutorials from the microsoft site from where you download vb. It's 100% beginner friendly. I truly recommend it.
