Cisco 2900XL Switch has a failed data line test during POST. How do I solve this problem?
Nice set up, but where do you put the batteries? Seriously, even if I had a clue what you were running (and I don't), aren't data line interruptions almost impossible to diagnose through an online forum? Why don't you ask the IT department. I bet that's what they get paid to do.
Reply:Replace this switch with a new Cisco 2960 or Cisco Express 500. Let me know if you need help.

Reply:How does the switch behave once it is up? I cannot find this message on CCO, and this is a very old switch, am I correct in guessing that it is not under any maintenance? You need TAC to debug that error, and I am not certain if you can even put that switch under SmartNet any longer.
