1) A solid P-35 motherboard with a proven track record with users is preferred. SLI/Crossfire deemed not needed for casual/normal gamers?





2) Ditch soundcard for a solid 2.1 speaker system with proven record.

Reply:The case is good. I use it. Get a Western Digital Raptor for your main harddrive and then get a dump drive with whatever HD money you have left over. I agree with person above, you don't need 1000 psu and x-fi is a waste if your going to get weak speakers. Get a normal sound card. Do you need vista 64? Get XP.

Reply:The X-Fi is a waste of money considering that your motherboard already has a good sound card built-in and you're getting low quality speakers. I don't see why you need to BUY Windows. Also, the 1kW PSU is sort of overkill even if you're getting SLI.
