My question?

please help me :


My laptop(HP Pavilion) has no parallel port, and I want to interface the parallel port by any programming language such that VB ,C++,matlab ,..... etc.


- Can I use (USB TO PARALLEL PORT CONVERTER)?


- Are there any problems or changes in addressing the parallel port?

I want to use the Standard Parallel Port (SPP) in control engineering.

its possible but it will complicate things. better to use another computer which has a parallel port. it will save you time in debugging/checking the program and connection.
