Good Idea for a Software Spec.?

Greetings, fellow n3rdz,

I have a few weeks off in between taking contracts in the states. Positions keep you in one position: the bottom!

I want to build a horizontal utility, and put it on SourceForge or whatever. Here's an idea:

AJAX Web Service Interface Designer --

--Input: URL of service's output XML

--Input: Namespace (if any)

--Input: Nodes / Attributes to select

--Output: JScript AJAX function which returns Node-InnerTexts and Attribute-Values or NodeList and is browser-standard

--Possible Output: JScript AJAX function which calls an onload JScript AJAX function from a server-side (ASP, C#, VB, etc) page and returns the above. Server-side page writes to server-side XML as a concurrent processing option (usually an issue in .NET)

I guess I'm just looking for comments, not answers.

too late! those tools and more are out there, and nobody does plain ajax anymore!

With many of the current libraries we can asynchronously fire off dozens of requests and use the results to build pages!

I use jquery, and I've done some of these tasks, and the others are discussed on the mailing list!
Reply:Too hard. if you write in other word, i think i can help a few
Reply:Hey its really a cool idea. I have worked in AJAX, and I liked your idea very much.

Bingo :)
