write program which emulates such interface with many set of commands including:


1. removing file from the system.


2. removing directory


3. copying file to another


4. renaming file


5. allow the users to see their locations on system


6. navigation a round the system


7. A calculator facility


within calculator application including as many mathematical operation as possible should be:


1.addition


2.Subtraction


3.Multiplication


4.Division


5.Square root





for user who are not familiar with your command line interface should be able to have an online help.the program should include a HELP PAGE which explains all of your commands,their purposes and usage.





TASKS:





1.writing the program.


2.code should be well documented, your program should include as much comments as possible.


3.write your program design specification,including diagrams which represent your proposed approach

Reply:Yes, it's possible to do it. Are you asking someone to do it for you? It would take me 20 minutes to code something simple that would pull off all those functions but the idea here is for you to learn. Since your working in the console it's especially easy. Depending on what operating system your using you have to use os specific commands (ex: Windows uses "chdir" to change directory while Unix uses "cd", etc.) There's a start.

Here we can also add the facility that the OS can boot from designated drive.
